The federal government has announced yet another increase in fuel prices, putting more pressure on the public already struggling with inflation.

According to the latest notification from the Finance Division:

  • 📌 Petrol has gone up by Rs. 5.36, bringing the new price to Rs. 272.15 per liter
  • 📌 High-speed diesel has increased by Rs. 11.37, reaching Rs. 284.35 per liter

This marks the third consecutive price hike in recent weeks:

  • In the last review, petrol was raised by Rs. 8.36 and diesel by Rs. 10.39
  • Before that, in mid-June, petrol rose by Rs. 4.80 and diesel by Rs. 7.95

These continuous hikes are expected to further increase the cost of transport, goods, and basic services across the country
