Honda Atlas has exported a second batch of 38 locally assembled Honda City 1.2L cars to Japan, following an initial shipment of 40 units in April 2025. This milestone highlights Pakistan’s growing capabilities in auto manufacturing and the increasing trust in the quality of vehicles assembled in the country.

Company representatives say the move reflects rising production standards and strategic efforts to reach international markets.

Other automakers in Pakistan are also making similar strides. In 2023, Toyota Indus exported 50 vehicles—including Fortuner, Corolla Cross, and IMV models—while Changan Pakistan sent 14 Oshan X7 SUVs to Kenya and Tanzania.

Hyundai Nishat has recently joined the trend by exporting its Santa Fe Hybrid units to Sri Lanka, showing that Pakistani car manufacturers are gaining traction in global markets.
